Data In providing trade services and marketing to the hospitality and leisure sectors – we may collect any business related data such as, trading name, trading structure, owner / director information, address, contact information, web site, social media and in operating Client accounts, we store essential data such as ordered services, service preferences, payment preferences, marketing and communication preferences. This list is not exhaustive and in specific instances we may need to collect additional data to provide trade services including information you provide to us, we may also receive data by way of customer referral from existing Clients.
Cookies Cookies are small pieces of data (text files), which are stored on your device when web sites are loaded in your browser. Only essential session cookies are used by HALHUB – these are needed for the site to function (e.g. WordPress, WooCommerce or Stripe cookies). No other cookies are around and even if they were you can be assured Ashley would promptly eat them. We recommend adjusting your browser settings / add-on’s to best meet your needs. Moreover, we don’t engage in tracking user or Client browsing behaviour – either online or by email / beacons / pixels etc.
Security Data We operate internal policies to prove our commitment in keeping data safe and secure. Security software protects IT systems from external attack and unathorised access. Security involves the monitoring of IP addresses visiting our web site, this information is not personally identifiable in itself and in the event an IP address is processed alongside user information then the information is treated as personal information. Encryption of data is provided for web site communications and card payments are processed externally by Stripe.
Duration We don’t store data any longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, the longest we will normally retain any personal data is five years.
Data Sharing We don’t sell, buy, rent or otherwise trade in data. Personal data is not shared to any third party except where required in providing service via an integration or if required by law, Government body, regulator or for the prevention, detection or investigation of crime including for the protection of our employees and Clients.
Communications We aim to update Clients and potential Clients with news, promotions, services and products which are of interest and revelance to the trade. You can opt-out of receiving communications at any time by following the link contained within the communication or by visiting the marketing prefererences page.
